“ This is my favorite cafe to go to for work most of the time. I love the taste of their coffee. In winter, they have a cool fireplace in the middle of the cafe. Their pastry taste amazing. In summer, they also have a nice patio for sitting. ”

“ Sunday morning Double Americano with cream and a Carrot Raisin Muffin. Delicious. Plenty of outdoor seating available as the street is blocked off and the Starbucks that was across the way is no longer in operation. There was a little bit of a line, but it moved quickly. The staff were super friendly. There is a real sense of community in this East Side Coffee House. If you are looking for parking, there are two free spots, directly behind JJ Bean, and street parking. On occasion, you can also find free parking in the alley. ”

“ Breve latte. Most staff does it well but there’s this guy and this girl with two hair colors that does it beyond well. JJ is that neighbourhood coffee spot that’s your go to atmosphere ”

“ This JJ Bean location just launched doughnuts and the flavours are chef’s kiss. It makes me wonder If Gordon Ramsay is in the back kitchen. I sampled the apple fritter and the passionfruit doughnut. The jelly filling was perfect and the staff told me they were handcrafted right on site which makes sense as I couldn’t believe how homemade they tasted. In summary: If you are looking for a cozy atmosphere to enjoy a latte, baked good, or lunch, this is the perfect location — especially to catch up over conversation with a friend. The staff are super friendly, the location is locally owned and operated and they have perfect Wi-FI and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend you stop by as soon as possible! ”
